General FAQ's: CBR250 | CBR400

 

CBR250 FAQ's

Q: What is the top speed of the CBR 250?
A: 180 Km/h approx.

Q: What power does the CBR250 output?
A: Depending on the model 40-45 hp

Q: What is the feul consumption?
A: not too sure 40/50 mpg I think...correct me on this if you like.

Q: What is the insurance grouping?
A: in Ireland anyway it is a group 5 bike by Norwich Union/Hibernian standards

Q: Where do they come from?
A: The CBR250 was originally only officially sold in Japan but then later Honda Australia officially started importing them, in Ireland alot of them have been imported by motorcycle shops.

Q: What oil should I use?
A: I have been told that you should use a good quality semi-synthetic as synthetics can cause problems like clutch slip/drag on some bikes.

Q:Tyre Pressures?
A: (Standard pressures)
Front : 30-32 psi
Rear : 34-36 psi

A: 59 bhp

A: approx 40 mpg

A: Hibernian (Norwich Union) in Ireland is group 8.

Q: Where do they come from?
A: The CBR400 was only ever officially sold in Japan, but always had a large "grey" import presence in the UK.
